On the first day of your wine-tasting holidays, we will head over to Maribor, the second-largest Slovenian city, where we will visit the oldest vineyard and one of the biggest and oldest wine cellars in Europe.

After lunch, we will head to the famous heart-shaped road amid the picturesque vineyards and rolling hills. The day’s last stop will be by one of the boutique winemakers, where you will delve even deeper into the world of different tastes.

Once you have tasted the local delicacies, we will head to a local winemaker for the first tasting of the day. If time permits, there will be some free time to explore the scenic surroundings before we head to dinner with obligatory wine pairing.

You cannot visit the Štajerska region without visiting Slovenia’s oldest town — Ptuj. Rich with culture and surrounding scenery, Ptuj is a worthy last-day destination. Before we return to Ljubljana, we will pay a visit to another wine cellar and reflect on the week we spent together.

Slovenia’s largest wine-growing region is covered in boutique wine cellars, picturesque vineyards, and culturally-rich towns. Wine holidays are your only path to exploring each one of its hidden gems and returning home content with everything you experienced.

There is even a settlement called Jeruzalem hidden in the rolling hills of northeastern Slovenia, and its surroundings and wines are just as magical as the name suggests. If you ever wondered what idyll actually feels like, you will wonder no more after leaving this place.

Just as enchanting is the town of Ptuj — Slovenia’s oldest city. Sprawled across the riverbanks of the Drava River, it has a calming presence that impresses every visitor. Would it be too much if we also mentioned that the oldest vineyard in Slovenia originates from here?

With our service, you will receive the holidays you have always dreamed of — full of wine, delicious food, and unforgettable experiences. Accommodations, guides, and transfers will be arranged to leave you to your indulgences without a worry to your mind.
