Our Wine Tour is a first-hand, interactive experience that will introduce you to Slovenia’s ancient, rich and highly respected winemaking tradition in one of the most beautiful wine regions in Slovenia.
During the short 1-hour drive from Ljubljana, you will notice a quick shift in landscape as we enter the picturesque Vipava Valley. It is a region halfway between the capital and the Adriatic, where the sun is shining, the weather is warmer, and the lush green expanses are perfect for enjoying a glass of wine.
We will be welcomed by two wine-making families and get to taste their wine, including some of the internationally awarded brands among them.
Local winemakers, whose winemaking skills have been passed down through generations, will gladly share a few insider anecdotes, background stories, history of the land, and show you the ins and outs of their winemaking processes.
As drinking wine is a social activity, you’ll also get a chance to mingle with other jolly Wine Tourers and share your experience over a glass of delicious wine and a plate of authentic local cuisine.
Throw an expert sommelier guide into the mix and you’re in for a very educational and fun time!
We also organize wine tastings in Bled and Ljubljana: check out Wine Tasting Bled and Wine Tasting Ljubljana.
But if you want to spend extended holidays here and discover our gourmet gastronomy, check out Food & Wine Holidays Slovenia.
If you are looking to pamper yourself with wine over multiple days, you can check out the following two products we prepared for you, taking you to either of the two most renowned wine-growing regions in Slovenia.
