Tina holte uns mit dem Auto vom Hotel ab und fuhr uns zu zwei ausgezeichneten Familienweingütern, die schon seit Generationen in Betrieb sind. Beide waren sehr unterschiedlich, aber ebenso herzlich in ihrer Begrüßung. Sie teilten Platten mit Produkten (einige der besten Tomaten, Käse und Prosciutto) und ließen uns die Weine probieren, während sie uns ihren Ethos und ihre Arbeitsweise erklärten. Einige der Rebsorten gibt es nur in Slowenien, und die Qualität der Weine ist hervorragend. Da die Preise niedrig waren, kauften wir ein paar Flaschen, um sie in unserem Hotel zu trinken oder mit nach Hause zu nehmen. Eine fabelhaft entspannte Art, lokale Weine zu probieren und die Landschaft zu genießen. Ich kann dies jedem Weinliebhaber nur empfehlen.

Eine fantastische Art, die slowenischen Weine im Vipava-Tal zu erleben! Tina, unsere Reiseleiterin, ist Sommelier und Expertin für die lokalen Weinberge und Rebsorten. Sie macht den Wein für alle Weinliebhaber zugänglich und übernimmt das Fahren, damit Sie probieren können! Der Empfang in kleinen Familienbetrieben, die seit Generationen Wein herstellen, war ein Höhepunkt des Tages, vor allem wenn man bedenkt, dass 95% der slowenischen Weine das Land nicht verlassen. Neben den Weinen gibt es auch Wurstwaren aus der Region. Das war ein tolles Erlebnis!

Wir machten eine Tour mit einigen Freunden und auch einigen Slowenen. Es war interessant, dass die Slowenen noch nie an diesem besonderen Ort gewesen waren .... und sie haben es nicht bereut!
Die Weine waren überraschend gut (um ehrlich zu sein, hatte ich noch nie einen slowenischen Wein getrunken...) und das servierte Essen war fantastisch!!!
Alles in allem hat sich der Ausflug auf jeden Fall gelohnt und ich würde jedem Weinliebhaber empfehlen, ihn zu machen.
Vielen Dank an Boris, unseren sehr lustigen und interessanten Sommelier und all seine Kollegen und Freunde, die diesen Tag zu einem echten Vergnügen gemacht haben!

The wine tour was amazing. We stopped at 2 wineries both of which were lovely. Our tour guide was not only a great conversationalist but was also very knowledgeable about the area and Slovenia history. The winery hosts were exceptional - and the wines were fantastic. We bought wines at each location and loved all the wines we tasted. The food provided was delicious as well. I would recommend this tour to anyone interested in learning about wines from this area.

Tina is a fabulous guide, knowledgeable & enthusiastic. The pace of the tour was relaxed & fun. Both wineries we visited were excellent family-run businesses with great wines! The lunch was also superb at Faladur. We has a fantastic day & would thoroughly recommend this to anyone who loves wine & wants to lean a bit more about Slovenian wine!

We had a great wine tour! Boris picked us up and we drove to the Vipava Valley. The two wineries we visited were excellent! We felt right at home! Everyone was friendly and knowledgeable with their wine. The food was delicious. It was truly a wonderful day. We would recommend it highly.

We had an amazing private wine tour with Tina! Tina was extremely knowledgeable about the wines and country, and she did a great job planning out the day. We got to visit 2 wineries with a small lunch in between. The wine tastings were incredible - we got taste many wines, learn the history and culture of Slovenian wine, and eat some awesome local charcuterie all in a private tasting with the wine maker. I cannot rate this tour high enough!

I had a wonderful tour with Tina; she was an excellent guide! I enjoyed traveling with her along the beautiful wine country roads of Slovenia. We indulged in incredible wines, homemade charcuterie, gorgeous vistas, and visiting one on one with the winemakers..... it's all there in this fantastic private tour; it was indeed a blast!! Diese Tour hat die Erwartungen in jeder Hinsicht übertroffen. Ich würde dies jedem empfehlen. Ich weiß, ich wahrscheinlich klingen wie eine gefälschte Bewertung, aber ernsthaft dies war erstaunlich. Boris war ein großartiger Führer, die Weine waren fantastisch, die schweren Snacks auf jedem Weingut waren köstlich. 11 von 10, würde wieder gehen.

Boris was a verry good guide with a wide knowledge of Slovenian wines. We were Lucky to visit the vineyards during harvesting period in the beginning of september. We even got to try fresh grape juice straight from the press. We had a large variety of wines, including the popular Slovenian orange wines. Both wine families greeted us with locally produced snacks and home grown vegetables. This was a great experience, highly recommended.

My nana was ever since I can remember a wine fan and we went on a little trip together to Slovenia, so of course I had to scout out some wine experiences. Read some nice reviews and said, why not? It's not even important that I enjoyed it thoroughly, but my nana was so beyond happy and just couldn't get enough of chatting with the winemakers and walking all around the vineyards and trying the wines. It truly is a special memory for both of us and am forever grateful for this experience and to Boris, for taking such good care of all of us!

The organization of the wine tour was perfect. The guide went with us to the wine region Vipava and there we visited wineries and learned a lot about wines during the wine tasting. Our guide Boris was a spectacular sommelier. He was the best! He actually poured his soul into our wine glasses. One of the best days in Slovenia ever!

It was so nice to go out from the city bustle and to enjoy wine in beautiful Vipava valley. It was a treat to talk to the winemakers and meet the whole family. Boris was making sure we had a great tiem and that we had all we needed. Such good wine! Still amazed by it and my suitcase was a little bit heavier on my way back home ;) thank you again!

It’s always good to take a local guided trips and activities when abroad. This time in Slovenia we went for the wine tour and I must say we were very happy we decided to do it. Our guide was literally a wine enciclopedia and very funny. Wine cellars were stunning and wine delicious. We recommend this agency to all wine and nature lovers.

We did a wine tasting and sommelier told us about this wine tour, and we said why not. Super happy that we did it! It was an amazing day, we have learned so much about the winemakers and their wines. It was a relaxed day and it was more than needed after a couple of in Ljubljana. Would definitely recommend it. Especially if you are a fan of excellent wines.

Had so much fun on this tour! The weather looked a little bit off in the morning, but on our way the skies have cleared and the day was just perfect! We have visited 2 small winemakers with exquisite wine, was just a shame I couldn't take with me more bottles. :) Super recommended!

I had to see for myself what was with all that "Slovenia really has great wine" talk. Have decided to go on this tour, was skeptical at the beginning, but Boris was just an amazing guide/sommelier, explained everything so well, you can definitely tell that his passion are wines. And his passion is contagious, by the time we got to the first winemaker, I was already more than eager to try the first wine. The whole day was just a great mix of wine, food and conversations about wine and everything else;) Thank you so much Boris!

If you want to experience a day out in the Slovenian country side sampling wines and talking to the winemakers, this is for you! We had a blast sitting on a porch drinking amazing wines and sampling local food. Having been to other wine tastings around the world, this was so much more personal and relaxed. Would definitely go again!

If you want to get into the Slovenian countryside, sample the local food and wine and meet the local producers, then I would highly recommend this tour.
Boris showcased Slovenian wine with great passion and knowledge. We visited very small family operations where we were treated to generous tastings of wine and food in beautiful surroundings.
The highlight was visiting a restaurant in a very small town dating back to the 1100's.
